Nacra 17
The Nacra 17 is a high-performance foiling catamaran used in the Olympic Games for mixed-gender sailing. It was first introduced as an Olympic class for the 2016 Rio Games and has been refined to include foiling technology since 2017, making it one of the fastest and most dynamic boats in Olympic sailing.
Each Nacra 17 team consists of two sailors:
● Skipper – steers the boat and makes tactical decisions.
● Crew – manages sail trim and foils and helps balance the boat.Specifications.
